Atlanta extreme metallers DAATH's new album, The Hinderers, will be released in Japan via Roadrunner on February 21st. The Japanese edition of the album will feature an exclusive bonus track.

The Hinderers will be released in North America on March 13th.

Produced by James Murphy (ex-DISINCARNATE/OBITUARY/DEATH/TESTAMENT ), co-produced by Daath and mixed by Colin Richardson (BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, MACHINE HEAD, CRADLE OF FILTH, FEAR FACTORY), with additional engineering by Andy Sneap, The Hinderers "is a strong return to the classic death metal/black metal sound that ruled the scene in the early 90’s," according to a press release.

States the band’s guitarist Eyal Levi, “Colin Richardson's mix is, as expected, CRUSHING! Working with him has been a blast and having Andy Sneap re-amp our rhythm guitars is no side note. This album is going to sound like we intended it to!”

Daath also welcomes drummer Kevin Talley (ex-CHIMAIRA, DYING FETUS) to the fold. Comments Levi, "Playing with Kevin has always been a natural choice for us. He's been involved with the project for years now and not only is he one of the greatest metal drummers out there, but also one of our good friends. We're excited to have him in the band and we’re also extremely excited to be doing our first proper US tour with the mighty CATTLE DECAPITATION."

Daath is Sean Farber (vocals), Mike Kameron (keyboards, backing vocals), Eyal Levi (guitar), Emil Werstler (lead guitar), Jeremy Creamer (bass), and Kevin Talley (drums).

The Hinderers tracklisting is as follows: 'Sightless', 'Subterfuge', 'Under A Somber Sign', 'From The Blind', 'Cosmic Forge', 'Ovum', 'Festival Mass Soulform', 'Above Lucium', 'War Born (Tri-Adverserenade)', 'Dead On The Dancefloor', 'Who Will Take The Blame', 'Blessed Through Misery', 'The Hinderers'.
