MANITOU Issue Year-End Update; Announce Split With Firebox Records

Finland's MANITOU check in with the following year-end update:
"Well well, it's almost New Year again. Manitou's year 2006 was great. New album (Deadlock) was released and the single from that album ('Fools In Control') reached the second place on the Finnish Singles chart! Thanks to everyone who helped us with that!Our album got releases in Finland, Europe and Japan! That's great!
We played 27 gigs this year, also we did our first appearance (outside) of Finland! Some gigs were really great, some little less than that ;) Also we did our first gigs at real Festivals!
Special thanks to our Road Crew, Erkko, Harto, Hantta!
Our ways with Firebox Records aparted, so stay tuned to hear what's going to happen next... Now we're doing new stuff.
