VELVET REVOLVER fan site Velvet-Revolver.com report:

"According to various sources, the band will perform at the Quilmes Rock 2007 Festival, which is held in Buenos Aires, Argentina between April 12th and 15th.

Last.fm has dedicated a page to this festival. Other artists appearing include AEROSMITH, PLACEBO, EVANESCENCE, AUDIOSLAVE, KEANE, LAS PELOTAS and LOS RATONES PARANOICOS.

Also, there's a report that the band will add a second performance in Bogotá, Colombia on April 18th. They are already scheduled to perform at the Palacio De Los Deportes, and it seems like there will also be a performance at the Parque Simón Bolívar that day. Keep in mind that none of the dates have been posted on the band's official site yet.

Thanks go out to Simba317 for the link to a new video blog on VR's official website. The video, running slightly over one-and-a-half minutes, shows the band as they are writing and playing in the studio. We also get a sneak peek at Scott's lyric book, which shows a working song title 'Messages They Left' and the lyrics "Radar signal seeking you but finding nothing at all / Got a problem got a sinking feeling / Call out the cavalry, there's something wrong".

Check it out here."

Velvet Revolver plans to release their second album, Libertad, this spring. Frontman Scott Weiland is also working on his second solo album, which he hopes will surface in the fall of 2007 on his own label, Softdrive Records.
