KRUGER - New Album Now Expected Via Listenable Records In Late March
January 8, 2007, 17 years ago
It had previously been announced that Swiss metallers KRUGER would release their new album, Redemption Through Looseness, in April via France's Listenable Records.
The label has since issued the following update from the band:
"Redemption Through Looseness is almost complete. The mastering should be done this week and we're all impatient to finally hear the final result after all these months of hard work. The recording of the new album has been nothing short of a big stressful mess, including microphones breakdowns, hard drive failures and all the technical shit you could think of! It's been kind of a run against the clock - but we made it !We flew over Boston in December for a 10-day stay in Salem, MA with the magnificient Kurt Ballou (of CONVERGE fame) at the desk, to mix the shit out of the tricky recorded material we were bringing along.
Fortunately the guy's smooth yet focused attitude and his amazing mixing skills have managed to bring the best out of these nine new painfully recorded tracks. The guitars have that typical early 90's swedish flavour blended in a modern yet greasy and wild production and the songs are far more diverse and ass-hooking than on our previous record. Redemption Through Looseness ROCKS! Expect
something fresh, fast, sticky and mean!"
Redemption Through Looseness is scheduled for an end of March release. For more on Kruger visit their MySpace page at www.myspace.com/krugerband .
