Southern California-based quintet IN THIS MOMENT kicks off the New Year with a bang, joining KITTIE, WALLS OF JERICHO, DEAD TO FALL and 36 CRAZYFISTS for a massive US tour, which starts on February 7th and runs to the end of March.

Their debut album, Beautiful Tragedy, produced by Eric Rachel (ATREYU, GOD FORBID), is set for a March 20th release via Century Media. The band closed out 2006 with a three-week national tour that saw them play alongside a number of different artists such as 3 INCHES OF BLOOD, 36 Crazyfists, SWORN ENEMY and labelmates DIECAST. Look for them to remain on the road through the end of the year, and see below for their current tour itinerary.

The group recently shot a new video for the track 'Prayers' with up-and-coming director Mike Wildt; look for it to make its debut exclusively through MySpace in conjunction with the start of the tour.

Chris Howorth (guitars) further comments on the band’s first video shoot: “We had a blast filming our first video, and the location was amazing. The director and crew were really nice and professional. We gave 100% effort, which resulted in some minor battle wounds. Maria Brink (vocals) got smacked in the head with a camera, resulting in a nasty gash on the bridge of her nose, but after applying ice and some crazy glue she was up and headbanging in less than an hour. Everyone in the band probably had whiplash after the shoot was over, but it was totally worth it. We got some great shots and we can’t wait for you all to see the finished product.”
