BYZANTINE Name New Album, Announce Tour Dates

BYZANTINE's MySpace page has been updated with the following band news:
" West Virginia's forward thinking thrash band Byzantine have set Oblivion Beckons as the title of their third album, due out this July via Prosthetic Records.The follow up to 2005's enigmatic ...And They Shall Take Up Serpents will contain 12 brand new tracks and will also contain complete note-for-note guitar transcriptions, in both standard musical notation and guitar tablature notation.
Explains vocalist/rhythm guitarist Chris "OJ" Ojeda, "we had such a great response from the tablature on the last album we decided to keep that level of expectation high upon us and tab this album out as well. Nothing less for our true fans and friends."
Handling the recording and production duties on Oblivion Beckons will once again be Byzantine's long time friend and producer, Charles A. Fisher, owner of 101 Productions in Sissonville, WV. Mixing will take place at Highview Studios in MD by Drew Mazurek (SOULS AT ZERO, NOTHINGFACE, GWAR) and the album will be mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Mastering in NJ.
Byzantine will take a month off of recording to join the Chains Of Humanity tour with GOD FORBID, GOATWHORE, MNEMIC and ARSIS.
