OVERKILL Concert Cut Short Due To Falling Speakers

Last night, Friday January 26th, OVERKILL played Jaxx nightclub in Springfield, VA. According to members of the Brave Board, during Overkill's set, the right speaker stack fell over backward. By the urgency of the staff, it seems someone was underneath. The show was stopped, and they cleared the main room. Ambulances and firetrucks arrived shortly thereafter. Apparently it was a stage-crew member trapped underneath the equipment. There is no word on the extent of his injuries.
BW&BK; called the club and spoke to a Jaxx employee who said, "there's no one here right now who can give you a statement."
Overkill are scheduled to play Jaxx again tonight, Saturday January 27th. Apparently the show is still on with less than 100 tickets remaining.
