THORNBOUND - BORKNAGAR Bassist Joins The Fold

Norwegian metallers THORNBOUND have posted the following update from guitarist Eirik at their MySpace page:
"A new year and almost a new beginning for Thornbound, because things change and so does certainly Thornbound.What has happened? Well...
We parted ways with our previous drummer and bassist a couple of months after the demo was recorded and for a while there we had no drummer and no bass player. Today we can proudly announce that drummer Asgeir Mickelson and bass player Erik Tiwaz (formerly known as Tyr) has joined us. You probably know Asgeir from his work with bands like BORKNAGAR, SPIRAL ARCHITECT, IHSAHN and session work for the almighty TESTAMENT - and Erik for his excellent playing with Borknagar, and maybe you have seen him on tour with EMPEROR or SATYRICON.
Playing with these people definitely is a kick in the ass. The new songs are faster, more technical and has much more melody, but fear not... Thornbound is still death metal!
We had a photo session a week ago and some pictures will be uploaded as soon as possible
This spring we enter Asgeir's Multimono Studio to record our debut record. We will upload some samples, album title and songtitles when we got something to show you guys.
