Update: Maritime Metal Strikes Back - The Music Of Artisanship & War: Volume I Due In March

As previously reported, Canadian-based Diminished Fifth Records have compiled a new compilation called The Music of Artisanship & War: Volume I showcasing the finest metal from the Canadian Maritimes. The confirmed release date for the collection is March 20th.

Commented label founder/president Josh Hogan recently: "This album will showcase the talent of bands from across the Atlantic Provinces and will be a great representation of the variety of heavy music this region has to offer. Volume I will only be the beginning as the label will continue releasing volumes of The Music of Artisanship & War (annually or semi-annually) and it will also broaden its scope and begin working with more bands on their future endeavors."

‘The Music Of Artisanship & War’ is looking to be the largest metal compilation CD to be released out of the Maritimes. It will be featured in Over 35 stores in the Maritimes as well as in select Canadian cities (such as: Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, and Calgary).
