South Carolina's THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD have been confirmed for a European tour alongside DEAD TO FALL and ION DISSONANCE throughout May later this year. Currently demoing material and rehearsing to enter the studio to record the band's new album, Malice, the tour marks Through The Eyes Of The Dead's first time touring Europe since forming in 2003.

Having already supported the band's 2005 Prosthetic Records debut, Bloodlust, most recently with appearances at Sounds of the Underground and on a fall headlining tour in 2006, Through The Eyes Of The Dead will enter Mana Studios with producer Erik Rutan (HATE ETERNAL, ex-MORBID ANGEL) February 16th to lay down tracks for Malice, currently slated for a tentative summer 2007 release. Alan Douches (UNEARTH, SHADOWS FALL) will handle mastering and Paul Romano (MASTODON, THE RED CHORD) will return for artwork duties.

"The new material is coming along nicely," guitarist Justin Longshore said previously. "The songs are a lot more mature and the music is much faster, aggressive, and way more pissed off. I think fans are going to really love it. We are really pumped to work with Erik Rutan on Malice. We've never worked with a producer and I don't think we could have chosen anyone better; we really admire the work he's done in Morbid Angel and Hate Eternal and also the engineering efforts he's produced for Cannibal Corpse, Hate Eternal, and Premonitions of War, among others. After we hit the studio, we plan to dominate the world once again and tour throughout the year. We will be playing a lot of new places including Europe. 2007 is going to be an exciting year for TTEOTD."
