TUB RING - The Great Filter Release Date, Artwork Revealed; New MP3 Available

The End Records has set May 1st as the release date for the debut album, The Great Filter, from Chicago's spazzed-out, high-energy rock ensemble TUB RING.
The artwork for the debut album is pictured and an mp3 for the track 'When The Crash Happened' is now available. Go here to listen.
In a update posted on their official website, keyboardist Rob Kleiner says, "We're excited to announce a special CD release show in Chicago. The show is April 27th at the Beat Kitchen (all ages) and the line up will be Tub Ring, FOZY SHAZAM, THE SHOW IS THE RAINBOW and a short set by 3-2-1 ACTIVATE! All attendees will receive a special one of a kind Tub Ring/3-2-1 Activate! split CD featuring rare Tub Ring and 3-2-1 Activate! tunes what won't EVER be available ANYWHERE!

The band recently posted footage of themselves recording in the studio. Click here for video footage. The album, co-produced by keyboardist Rob Kleiner and Neal Ostrovsky, was recorded at B-Side Audio studios in Chicago.
