VISIONS OF ATLANTIS Issue Trinity Update
February 14, 2007, 17 years ago
VISIONS OF ATLANTIS guitarist Wolfgang "Wops" Koch has posted the following update in the band's Forum regarding their forthcoming album, Trinity:
"The mix for Trinity was finished (on Monday, February 12th) and the files transferred to Finvvox, were they'll master (finish) it.I must say, most of us (haven't heard from all yet) are absolutely glad with the result, you'll have a lot of heavy guitars, punching drumming, cool synths, glorious orchestra, angelic singing, choirs, shouting and some grunts.
As said previously, some surprises are coming up, you can see the typical VoA-sound being enriched by some other cool stuff, we got some real groovy parts, some real deep ones, some Gothenburg tunes and a tiny, slight slant of thrashing fun :-D
Most obvious thing will be Wario's (singer Mario Plank) extremely varying voice now and, of course, the fabulous voice of Mrs. (Melissa) Ferlaak, going all the way from desperate tunes up to operatic glory. Well - and those who have missed guitars and drums the last time - they're back :-D
Check this site or the MySpace site in the next weeks, some new songs might pop up really soon ;-) "
As previously reported, according to Napalm Records, "the new album masterfully merges their classic roots with powerful modern elements to create an album that is not only mystic and heavy, but also insightful and bombastic."
