German power metallers PRIMAL FEAR have issued the following studio update:

"We're in the middle of recording drums for the new, yet untitled PF album No. 7. We started with the recordings for our new album over last weekend (at House Of Music in Winterbach, Germany). Randy is in a fantastic shape, good mood and well prepared. We will be done with the drums tomorrow and start tracking guitars and bass. In the picture from left: Randy Black, Mat Sinner and producer Charlie Bauerfeind."

As previously reported, songtitles set to appear on the follow-up to 2005's Seven Seals include 'Save Me', 'Fighting The Darkness', 'The Curse Of Sharon', 'Psycho', 'The Final Word' and 'Every Time It Rains'.

According to a recent band update, "the music will follow the path of Seven Seals with orchestral arrangements, but will include some real shredding heavy metal tunes!"
