FIREWIND’s new video for the track 'Falling To Pieces' is set to make its Headbanger's Ball debut on MTV2 this Saturday night at 10 PM (EST)/7 PM (PST). The clip was shot by acclaimed director Patric Ullaeus (LACUNA COIL, IN FLAMES, DIMMU BORGIR), and the track comes from the Greek metal powerhouse’s new album, Allegiance.
Firewind guitarist Gus G. (ex-DREAM EVIL, NIGHTRAGE, MYSTIC PROPHECY, ARCH ENEMY) further describes the video: “Working with Patric was a dream coming true. We've all been fans of his work for quite some time now so we were extremely happy when he told us he'd be up for doing our new video! We shot all of the band performance parts in Sweden, and other parts of it were shot in New York. We learned a lot from Patric during the shoot, and he made each one of us to perform the best we could. He definitely made us look like a million dollars.”
Firewind will embark on their first headlining UK tour in April and are set to make their US debut at ProgPower USA, which takes place in Atlanta on October 5th - 6th, 2007. The group has also launched their own YouTube page (Fire TV), which features some exclusive material and their new 'Falling To Pieces' video. Click here to check it out.
