2007 marks the 20th anniversary of Earache Records, as well as the 20th anniversary of NAPALM DEATH’s groundbreaking debut, Scum.

Remaining relentlessly independent, Earache Records has spent two decades unearthing genre-defining, legendary bands and revel in bringing essential, underground music to the fans.

Earache will be celebrating this anniversary with the following things:

* The 'Metal: A Headbanger's Companion' box set in April - 6 CD set with over 100 tracks for a cheap price. Plans in the works to work in conjunction with a print publication to release an EXCLUSIVE comprehensive booklet with sampler CD as well!

* The 'Earache: Extreme Metal Racing' PS2 game was released February 2nd in the UK – Earache is the only label with a PS2 game dedicated to it!

* The Napalm Death Scum dual disc release in March with bonus documentary DVD - THE pivotal Earache release and the one that in

many ways started the label on the path to notoriety and legendary status.

* Sanctuary Records are issuing a special compilation, Grind Your Mind in recognition of the genre, packed with Earache artists (http://www.myspace.com/grindy0urmind).

* A special, press worthy download single in April (details soon!) ...HINT: The shortest songs on EARTH... as presented by Napalm

Old and new schools converge this year at Earache with acts such as MUNICIPAL WASTE and EVILE raising the bar on the fresh, ferocious thrash! Alongside the thrash explosion lies good ‘ol death metal! Legendary death crooners DEICIDE will have released their second live DVD, kicking off a heartwarming year of grind and death with titles from THE BERZERKER, NOX, and BLOOD RED THRONE to follow
