Bulgarian death/black metal band CLAYMORE have issued the following bio in hopes of securing a label deal.

Claymore formed in the summer of 1999 in the city of Rouse. Band members include: Kamen Manev (drums,

ex-VIPER), Martin Manev (guitar, ex-VOMITORY), Velislav Danov (bass, ex-Viper), Tzvetelin Baltov (keyboards, ex-IK-1) and vocalist Tzvetan Rachev (ex-INFANTICIDE).

The band began performing live in September, 1999 and continued to play many cities throughout Bulgaria. In 2000 Claymore performed at the biggest Bulgarian Underground Music Festival in the city of Bourgas.

Also that year the band records their first four track demo. In 2001 comes another demo CD, titled Warriors Of Claymore, which is sent to radio shows, record labels and webzines in Bulgaria and abroad.

At the end of 2001 the band takes part in a festival in Sofia (Bulgaria's capitol) and the reactions are more than positive. The band later had success with their participation on the 2005 and 2006 editions of the Thrash Till Death festivals, where they performed alongside acts such as DESTRUCTION, MYSTIC CIRCLE, NAPALM DEATH and others.

In late 2002 the group begin the recordings for their official demo CD release, which features much better sound in comparison to their previous releases. The demo contains five songs representative of the band's style.

At the end of 2006, the band successfully write their first full length album - 10 songs recorded at Area 51 studio Area51 - still not mixed.

Claymore plays melodic death/black metal combining aggression and melody in one with influences from other styles like heavy, thrash and grind, as well as a good amount of classical music.

With this demo CD the band wants to spread it's music among the underground circles all over the world and find a serious label to work with.
