It was announced earlier today that SODOM had cancelled their headlining appearance at the Full Metal Fest Vol. 1, scheduled for this Saturday, March 3th at the Arena Lopez Mateos in Mexico City, Mexico.
California-based metallers AGENT STEEL, who were also on the bill for the festival, check in with the following update:
"Agent Steel was in route to the Los Angeles airport when they received notice that the Full Metal Fest in Mexico City set forth to take place this Saturday, March 3rd got postponed! We are disappointed, we feel bad for the metal fans, but this is not our fault we did not cancel we were ready to go and perform; actually all the bands were ready, OMEN and HELSTAR were at the airport in Texas, ANVIL were ready to as well.
We know SODOM wants to reschedule the show and so does Agent Steel."
Stay tuned for updates.
In other Agent Steel news, as reported earlier, Producer Bill Metoyer is "currently mixing the band's new album, officially titled Alienigma, which will contain 10 brand new songs and will be released this year on Mascot Records with a European tour to commence in September with label mates VICIOUS RUMORS."
Alienigma tracklisting: 'Wash The Planet Clean', 'Lamb To The Slaughter', 'Fashioned From Dust', 'Hail To The Chief', 'Tiamats Fall', 'Extinct', 'WPD', 'Hybridized', 'Wormwod', 'Liberty Lying Bleeding'.
