Swedish black metallers MÅNEGARM have issued the following update:

"Two summer festivals confirmed! May 5th at the "Av Is Og ild" Festival in Bad Segerberg in Germany. The festival takes place in Hotel Am kalkberg. Since our new album will be out the day before this will be a small German release party for us. So make sure to be there and bang your heads with us! We will also sell and sign our new album at the festival! More info: www.avisogild.de. Also confirmed is the Metal Mean Festival in Belgium on July 21st. In other news, new Månegarm pictures (click left to view one) from the recent Heathen Crusade II festival in Minneapolis, MN (January 19th/20th) have been posted here.

As previously reported, Månegarm's new album, Vargstenen (The Wolfstone), will be released on May 4th in digi-pack and double-LP formats. This is the first concept album ever made by the band and the story begins with the prologue track 'Frekastein' from the album Vredens Tid (2005).
