YAKUZA Issue Update From The Studio; Photos Available

Chicago's YAKUZA have been demoing new material in their hometown at Semifour Studios for their forthcoming new album, tentatively titled Transmutations and scheduled for a late 2007 release through Prosthetic Records. Sanford Parker (PELICAN, MINSK, RWAKE), who made a guest appearance on the band's last release, Samsara, is handling production duties.
The band check in with the following update:
"Alright. Got the drumz done over at Electrical Audio (home of Steve Albini). Now we have moved into Volume (Semaphore) Studios for the duration. Sanford is killin it. Here are a couple of photos thus far.Keep you posted."
Yakuza has been also been added to the April 8th Chicago date of the upcoming tour featuring GENGHIS TRON and labelmates KYLESA at the Beat Kitchen and the band will be previewing new material at the show.
