FOR RUIN Enter The Studio On St. Patrick's Day
March 6, 2007, 17 years ago
Ireland's FOR RUIN has issued the following update:
"Recording rehearsals are ongoing and sounding great - the band start the debut album recording process on March 17th (fittingly) with three days of drum tracks. The album will be recorded during March-April, during which time there will (understandably) be a lack of live shows to focus on the recordings. Some 15 songs will be recorded, though not all will feature on the album. For Ruin play an all-ages show at the Cruscin Lan in Cork this weekend on Saturday, March 10th for the younger folks and any others wishing to come along - the show starts about 2pm, with FR playing at about 5-ish.
The cover art for the album is nearing completion and looks great - very dark looking and it seems likely that the CD will see a digipack release which should look cool - more on that later!"
As previously reported, Sentinel Records will issue For Ruin's debut album in mid-2007. Until then, fans are encouraged to vist the band's MySpace page.
