TARJA TURUNEN Nominated For Emma Award

Former NIGHTWISH vocalist TARJA TURUNEN's website has been updated as follows:
"Tarja has been nominated for the Emma award (Finnish equivalent to the Grammy) as best female soloist of the year 2006, together with Paula Koivuniemi, Emma Salokoski and Katri Ylander. On March 10th the winner will be announced in a special event denominated Emma-Gaala that will be broadcasted in Finland in channel TV2 at 19.50, and in YleX at 19:00. The nomination is the result of her performance on the Christmas Album Henkäys Ikuisuudesta. We are anxiously waiting to hear the result of this first nomination for Tarja as a solo artist. Nevertheless the honour of the nomination is already an invaluable prize."
