PLANET X - Quantum Cover Art, Track Listing And Release Dates Revealed

PLANET X keyboardist DEREK SHERINIAN has issued the following update:
"Quantum is FINALLY completed. At least we will have it out before Chinese Democracy... Virgil (Donati, drums) and I are very pleased with the final results, I think that it is our best record yet.The release dates will be:
Germany, Austria, Switzerland: May 18th
Rest of Europe: May 21st
North America: May 22nd
Japan: TBA
There are samples of Quantum on the official Planet X website and the official MySpace page."
The Quantum track listing, complete with song length, is as follows: 'Alien Hip-Hop' (7:11), 'Desert Girl' (6:04), 'Matrix Gate' (4:08), 'The Thinking Stone' (4:11), 'Space Foam' (4:45), 'Poland' (5:22), 'Snuff' (4:57), 'Kingdom Of Dreams' (6:48) and 'Quantum Factor' (7:09).
In other news, Derek is "hard at work writing solo album #6, I have three ideas completed with Brian Tichy, and will collaborate with Simon Phillips sometime this summer.
At Beachwood Manor Studio, I am finishing up mixes on Greek Guitar virtuoso Theodore Ziras' forthcoming album, and I just recently played a track on Spanish guitarist Jordi Sandalinas' new record.
For those of you who do not know, I had a beautiful daughter in September named Summer Rose Sherinian -- she has completely changed my life and has given me great new inspiration.
