JON OLIVA'S PAIN drummer Christopher Kinder has issued the following statement in the wake of several fans on the official Chris Caffery forums commenting on frontman Jon Oliva's vocal talents after seeing recent clips of JOP performing the SAVATAGE classics 'Summer's Rain' and 'If I Go Away'.

"I must say, on behalf of the rest of us in JOP, that it is a true honor and often frightening to hear Oliva belt out these classic tunes with such energy and seemingly effortless precision. We had been off the road for months and had not rehearsed as much as we would have liked (he was working alot on the new TSO stuff with Paul). He never approaches any show with less than 100% dedication to the performance.

We will be well rehearsed for the upcoming April tour, and for anyone that saw JOP over the past few years, the shows just get better and better each day and Jon/band become more comfortable and willing to push the envelope to the extreme once we have settled into the touring routine!

It's going to be a real gas in a few weeks..... \m/

We will pass on your very kind words to Oliva at next rehearsal. Hope to see as many of you as possible very soon.

And as usual, the US promoters have sent me nothing to confirm shows in the state's. Wish I had better news for the US fans!"

Christopher "Kong" Kinder
