Colorado metallers SILENCER have issued the following update:

"Chad's (Armstrong) begun laying down vocal tracks now, always an exciting time to hear that key bit of personality over the songs that we've heard instrumentally a hundred times until this point. Although the lyrics were written ahead of time most patterns weren't finalized and we're experimenting more on-the-fly, leaving some room for creativity at a point where things are usually pretty mapped out. Needless to say he's coming up with some very cool patterns that present the guitar riffs in whole different ways. Very thrash. We're also trying to find where that annoying wasp flying around in the vocal booth came from. Simultaneously bass tracks are in process, a good balance since Chad's voice is only good for a couple hours each session at full bore. This upcoming weekend we're excited because the band psychologist finally arrives! He plans on being here the rest of the recording session to help us work out our long-standing internal issues. We have cameras set up in the studio, we're planning on making a documentary on the making of this thrashterpiece. Our working title so far for the DVD is Some Kind Of Monster Truck Pull."
