SAVATAGE / DOCTOR BUTCHER / TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA guitarist Chris Caffery has issued the following update:

"Second one done!!!!

Today we played 'Preludio/Abandoned', 'Fade Into The X' and 'Fool, Fool'.

So, we have seven down so far. Pretty cool. Added an eerie intro for 'Fool....' doing lots of that kind of thing. I am having fun. The singing is so much easier now. Tomorrow it is just JMac, Nick and myself. Paul has a full day.

I think we will just add one more new tune and go through the other seven and stop at eight for week #1! This is way ahead of where I was hoping to be.

Then we just have a few more Pins songs and the cover stuff to do next week. A few Sava tunes, an old MSG instrumental 'Into The Arena' (which will have the Macaluso extended drum solo!) and possibly another SABBATH tune. I was thinking since people would be asking for some Savatage I would play on words and do something from Sabotage!!!! That CD is a lot like Pins anyway, really different and experimental with lots of weird heavy stuff. It is my favorite Sabbath CD!!!

Still in the midst of moving. Tomorrow I am moving the fish! That will be an adventure! Should be 90% finished moving after tomorrow night. I will get the rest of my things next week and have my last night here in the city when I go see HEAVEN AND HELL!!! Then it is two weeks off and on the road 'til January basically!
