MEGADETH To Record Musique Plus Special This Sunday

This Sunday (March 25th), MEGADETH will be playing a special "invite only" set at Musique Plus studios in Montreal, Quebec. The band will perform 4 songs including 'Washington Is Next', 'Sleepwalker', 'Gears Of War' and possibly 'A Tout Le Monde (Set Me Free)'.
Musique Plus will air the performance on May 15th, the street date for the band's new album, United Abominations, due out via Roadrunner.
As previously reported, in conversation with Megadeth leader Dave Mustaine this afternoon (March 22nd), Brave Words learned that the legendary frontman is considering launching a cross-Canada festival tour, possibly as early as this fall.
Although still in the very early planning stages, Mustaine suggests that tentative plans may see the "Gigantour" type trek include Canadian and international acts. One name mentioned in passing is Canada's INTO ETERNITY, who were part of the Gigantour trek in 2006, but at this time absolutely no bands, aside from Megadeth, are confirmed for the tour.
