SKITZO To Perform Sunday Night, Against Frontman's Doctor's Wishes
March 23, 2007, 17 years ago
Despite the hospitalization earlier this week of SKITZO vocalist Lance Ozanix, the band will perform as planned on Sunday night (March 25th) at Downtown Joes Brewery in Napa, CA.
Lance had the following to say in regards to the performance, “By contract I have to do it. The club promoted it, and I will be playing against my doctor’s wishes. This could be the last time. If I vomit, I could rupture my insides. But I will do it.”
As previously announced, due to the vomiting virtuoso's recent malaise and Skitzo needing to add a few finishing touches on the album, the release date for Five Point Containment due out on Open Grave Records will be pushed back from May 15th to June 26th.
The CD includes special guest appearances by Jeff Becerra (POSSESSED), Phil Demmel (VIO-LENCE, MACHINE HEAD), Sickie (THE MENTORS), and John Marshall (METAL CHURCH, BLIND ILLUSION).
