Vocalist Mat Maurer and drummer Luke Cook of legendary Australian thrashers MORTAL SIN have issued the following updates:
Mat - "Get y'all mofo asses down to the Hordern Pavilion (in Sydney) early on Tuesday, April 17th for the monster gig of the year. Mortal Sin, MASTODON, SLAYER! If you ain't inside the venue early to catch our show I will personally whip your ass! We wanna show some Aussie metal pride! We'll be on early, and we only get 20 minutes, but I guarantee you those 20 minutes will be the most intense Mortal Sin will ever play.
Luke - "If you're not there early I will hunt you down, kill you and dance about with your intestines on your shallow grave and then sell your skin for paris to make a handbag out of! You get the general idea."
In other news, Mortal Sin have finished tracking their long-awaited new album, An Absence of Faith, which is due later in the year. The tracklisting is as follows: 'Out Of The Darkness', 'Before The Bough Breaks', 'Tears Of Redemption', 'Deadman Walking', 'Lost Within', 'Say Your Prayers', 'Eye In The Sky', 'Rise Or Fall', 'My Nightmare', 'Broken Promises'.
