GLENN HUGHES (ex-DEEP PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH) will be conferred the title of an honorable citizen of Kavarna for his love to the coastal town and his great merit to the town’s popularity. The Municipal Council of Kavarna voted unanimously to back the decision. Glenn Hughes is a living poster of Kavarna in the world’s rock circles, the municipality told Focus News Agency. Glenn Hughes took part in concerts on December 31, 2005 and August 21, 2006. He is going to take part in a concert on May 6 in Kavarna. He has readily supported the national campaign “You Are Not Alone” in support of the Bulgarian nurses in Libya and has committed himself to attracting other world famous figures to the campaign. The title of honorable citizen of Kavarna will be conferred to Glenn Hughes on the Day of Kavarna, May 6.
