Former MEGADETH guitarist Jeff Young has issued the following update:

"In honor of my impending birthday (not a hint in any way, shape or form), I've posted a very rough mix of one of the tracks from my pending debut - several years in the un-making.

This track entitled, 'Infin8' (found here) features the breathtaking vocals of my friend, Gregg Analla. As is the case with ALL the amazing vocalists on this project (Debby Holiday, Badi Assad, Gilli Moon, Lenine, Sage Sansone), Gregg is one of the best kept secrets on the planet.

This rough mix hasn't really been mixed at all but the track is coming out so good, I thought you just might want to have a listen anyway?? Plus, everything on this myspace we've all grown so addicted to sounds 'out-of-phase' and crappy anyhow... so, why worry about a silly little detail like a 'mix' anyway??

The rhythm that this song is based around is called 'Maracatu' which originated in the north-east of Brasil... Brazil fer you yankees. Everyone knows about the Samba and Bossa Nova but there are many other super-cool rhythms from Brasil and this song is is good example of one of them."
