According to the Associated Press, a group of singers will pay tribute in concerts to Brad Delp, the lead singer of BOSTON who committed suicide in his New Hampshire home last month.
The Regent Theatre in Arlington, MA will present In My Life - A Concert for Brad, featuring Delp's band, BEATLEJUICE on May 3 and May 4 at 8 p.m.
"Much to our surprise and gratitude, some of Brad's favorite vocalists from the area, who had their own special relationships with him, have, quite humbly, offered their own talents to help us put on a Beatlejuice concert for all of us connected with Brad in this special way," said the group's drummer, John "Muzz" Muzzy.Featured performers will include Mike Girard, Buddy Bernard, Brian Maes, Gardner Berr, Lisa Guyer, Jimmy Rogers, Dave Stefanelli, Kimberley Dahme, Michael Troy, Peter Distefano, MaryBeth Maes, Charlie Farren, Bob Squires, Mike Greeley, Patty Barkas and Five O'clock Shadow.
"This is proving to be quite the experience -- listening to each of the performer's stories of Brad, as well as hearing their own renditions of Beatles music," Muzzy said. "The four of us are so moved that they have allowed us to play the music that Brad loved so much."
