In a recent interview with BW&BK; about the forthcoming U.D.O. album, Mastercutor, frontman Udo Dirkschneider (ex-ACCEPT) commented on the chances of Accept reuniting to record a new studio album:

“Let’s put it this way," says Udo, "I did the festival tour with Accept (in 2005) and it was a lot of fun, we satisfied a lot of people, but for me I learned that if we were to work together on a new Accept album it wouldn’t work out. With the Mastercutor album we have so many offers to tour and play it doesn’t make sense for me to bring Accept back. I’m in a position now where I can say ‘Okay, which U.D.O. songs should I put in an Accept setlist?’ (laughs). We still play some Accept songs in the U.D.O. set, of course, but on the last tour we only did three or four, and the feeling from many of the fans was that we don’t need to play Accept songs anymore.”

As previously reported, Mastercutor, will be released on May 18th (AFM Records). The complete tracklist is as follows: 'Mastercutor', 'The Wrong Side Of Midnight', 'The Instigator', 'One Lone Voice', 'We Do - For You', 'Walker Of The Dark', 'Master Of Disaster', 'Tears Of A Clown', 'Vendetta', 'The Devil Walks Alone', 'Dead Man's Eyes', 'Crash Bang Crash'.

U.D.O. are the confirmed headliner for Borstrock 2007, a Netherlands-based festival held May 18th - 19th in Nieuw-Vossemeer. Other bands confirmed include: VENGEANCE, SOMEWHERE ON STAGE (IRON MAIDEN tribute act) and SCRUM. For more info visit www.borstrock.nl.

They are also confirmed for the Earthshaker Festival 2007, which scheduled to take place July 19th - 21st in Germany.
