ASTARTE singer/bassist Tristessa is featured on Seribian black metal act BETHOR's cover of BATHORY's 'Equimanthor'. The track is currently available at the Astarte MySpace page, located here.
Bethor's cover is featured on Rock Express Records' BATHORY tribute, The Return Of Darkness And Evil.
Asarte's new album, Demonized, is out now through Avantgarde Music. The album was recorded in the band's home town of Athens, Greece and then mixed at Tico Tico Studio in Finland.
Demonized features a guest appearances by MAYHEM frontman Attila Csihar on the track 'Lycon', GOD DETHRONED's Henri "T.S.K" Sattler who sings on the track 'Queen Of The Damed', ARCH ENEMY'S Angela Gossow who sings on the song 'Black At Heart' and LLOTH's Nicolas Sic Maiis who is featured on 'God Among Men'. Other tracks to be included on the album are: 'Mutter Astarte', 'Demonized', 'Heart Of Flames', 'Lost', 'Black Star', 'God I Hate Them All', 'Everlasting', 'Princess Of The Dawn' (ACCEPT cover) and 'Everlasting' (outro).
