hot flashes news thine eyes bleed

Canadian thrashers THINE EYES BLEED offer up a studio update with photos of the recording of their forthcoming new album. In an update, frontman Justin Wolfe writes: "Well, we spent a little over 3 weeks at Beach Road Studios (Goderich, ON) tracking our yet “untitled” album with Engineer/Producer Siegfried Meier, and we feel things couldn’t have been better this time around. We were able to listen and create without the pressures of budget/time and it’s really going to show. The music is still to be mixed and sounds better than anything we have done so far. We lived in a 63’ mobile home on the farmland beside the studio that looked out to lake Huron, no distractions only time to focus, very peaceful. You can see some photos here:

There were many long days and nights filled with music, poker, guitar hero, ice cream, reefer n’ beer… the way it should be. As far as the new tunes go, we don’t think fans will be disappointed, we knew it was going to be heavy… Indeed it is. Listeners can expect a much more focused album that doesn’t let up.We now await the final mix from John Ewing Jr. at NRG Studios (Hollywood, CA) and should have things wrapped up in time this month for a summer release!

The band re-released their 2005 debut, In the Wake of Separation, in May of 2006. The CD included the bonus track 'Better off Dead' (previously available only in Japan) and the video for 'Cold Victim'. The band also took part in the mega-successful North American and European legs of the 2006 UNHOLY ALLIANCE TOUR, which featured SLAYER, CHILDREN OF BODOM, MASTODON and LAMB OF GOD.
