AWAKE - Artwork, Tracklisting For Thomas Englund-Produced Debut Available

As recently reported, UK prog-metallers AWAKE have just signed a worldwide recording contract with Finnish label Lion Music. The band's debut album, Illumination, produced by Thomas Englund of EVERGREY at Division One Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden and will be released in early summer '07. The album's stunning artwork (pictured left) was produced by Mattias Noren of Progart Media who has worked for many bands including Arena, Kamelot and Evergrey.
Illumination has the following track listing: Disbelief', 'Retribution', 'Crime Of Passion', 'Choices In Time', 'Begin Again', 'The Price You Have To Pay', 'Dream Within', 'Illumination', 'Forgiven Now Forever', 'My Last Goodbye', 'Shadows'.
`Disbelief' was chosen as the track for the band first video shoot which happened on March 10th at A & R Studios, Peterborough, UK - working with MetalonRock Productions, also of Peterborough. The finished video should be online in the next few weeks.
Awake are confirmed on the Talent Forum Stage at this year's Metalcamp Festival in Slovenia. The band are one of only three UK bands to be appearing. The festival is headlined by MOTÖRHEAD and SEPULTURA.
Two other dates are already pencilled in for UK fans on September 14th at The Attic in Rushden and the 15th at The Underworld in London with more to follow.
