Former RAINBOW Bassist To Join TED NUGENT's Band For Summer Tour

Former RAINBOW bassist Greg Smith has issued the following update: "Looks like I'll be playing bass for Uncle Ted this summer. I was kinda looking forward to having a summer at home with the family: BBQ's, canoeing, camping, recording in the barn and just enjoying the Smith "farm" but when Ted calls, you answer!! Rehearsals start the end of May, and tour starts in June. Go to Tednugent.com for the tour dates. "Wild" Mick Brown (DOKKEN) is playing drums and it's gonna be a fierce band and lots of fun. I'll try to stay out of jail! I'll also have recording capabilities out on the road so if anyone is in need of bass tracks, e-mail me!"
Smith was also the principal bassist and backing vocals for the Tony Award winning BILLY JOEL and Twyla Tharp musical Movin Out for it's entire three-year run on Broadway and one year on the road.
