It was reported yesterday (April 12th) that UNLEASHED had been announced as the headliner for the final night of this year's Earthshaker Festival, taking place in Kreuth, Germany July 19th - 21st. BW&BK; contacted the organizers to confirm these reports, which seemed odd considering acts like MOTÖRHEAD, WITHIN TEMPTATION, CRADLE OF FILTH, TESTAMENT, KREATOR, SEPULTURA and GAMMA RAY etc. are also on the festival bill.

Festival organizers went on record as saying Unleashed HAS NOT BEEN CONFIRMED AS A HEADLINER. They have no idea where the information came from and it was never even a consideration to have Unleashed as a top billed band.

Bands on the Earthshaker Festival bill include (in no particular order) MOTÖRHEAD (headliner), TESTAMENT, WITHIN TEMPTATION, CRADLE OF FILTH, KREATOR, SEPULTURA, J.B.O. GAMMA RAY, U.D.O, GRAVEWORM, GOD DETHRONED, FREEDOM CALL, LEGION OF THE DAMNED, KORPIKLAANI, , MELECHESH, KEEP OF KALESSIN, BEATALLICA, NORTHER, THRESHOLD, FEAR MY THOUGHTS, HATESPHERE, DEW-SCENTED, MYSTIC PROPHECY, ELUVEITIE. As previously reported, the organizers of the Earthshaker Festival have also announced the Earthshaker Roadshock Tour to help kick off this year's event. The tour will feature FINNTROLL, AFTER FOREVER, TAROT, DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER, MACHINE MEN and ALL ENDS, winding its way through Europe in April and May. It's unknown at this time if any of these bands will be playing the festival itself.
