hot flashes news dark haven

Temecula, California's DARK HAVEN, who earned the #1 spot in BW&BK;'s 2006 list of Brave Underground indie submissions, has issued the following announcement:

"Good News and Not So Good News…

We wanted to send out a message to all of our friends, fans and supporters. We recently came back from a very successful national tour hitting 28 cities across these great United States. The shows went off! They were great and we met a number of new and old fans out there that showed their die hard support for Dark Haven.

We made a stop in Memphis, TN before our show there and shot a video for 'Infernal'. This is going to be bad ass. We have seen clips of it so far and from what little time we had, this is going to be great. Special thanks and props go out to Scott Moon at Beale Street Studios for the killer work. We can't wait to let the public view this.

Now... the not so good news.

After our last show at Chain Reaction in Anaheim, CA, Brandon (McLaughlin - vocalist/bassist) informed us he was leaving the band. Although we wish this wasn't true, it is. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors and life in general.

This certainly has put a kink in the machine for Dark Haven. But rest assured we will forge ahead and find a replacement soon…

So the search begins… If you feel you have what it takes to be a vocalist/bass player within Dark Haven, please submit your info to our MySpace account and we will check you out. If you wish to send hard copies of your material, you may send it to our management: KillBox Media PO Box 1908 Spring Hill TN 37174 attn: Dark Haven.

The intern will forward everything to us. If you are a fan of the band, you will know what we are looking for when it comes to styles and performance. We prefer someone local to the area, but if you have what it takes and seriously kick ass, well we can work something out. We plan to hit the studio in late June or July for our first full length. Then hit the road again in September for at least another national tour, maybe more."
