QUEENSRŸCHE To Join HEAVEN & HELL Tour In September

QUEENSRŸCHE will be joining the long-awaited HEAVEN & HELL Tour that will spotlight BLACK SABBATH's DIO years beginning in the fall. Although the US leg of the Heaven & Hell Tour begins this Sunday, April 22, in Phoenix, Arizona (see www.heavenandhelllive.com for complete details), Queensrÿche will be joining the quartet of Dio, Iommi, Butler and Appice in September after a few solo dates (including dates in Japan in late May/early June) scattered amongst rehearsals this summer.
Last summer, Queensrÿche went on an ambitious 74-date trek in support of Operation: Mindcrime II (on Rhino Records) where they performed both Mindcrime albums in their entirety from beginning to end. This year's tour will contain hits and rarities.
According to a Queensrÿche update: "Metal fans will definitely be in their element when Heaven and Hell along with Queensryche come to town."
