ARCKANUM To Record Antikosmos This Summer

Carnal Records has issued the following update in regards to Sweden's one-man black metal act, ARCKANUM:
The new Arckanum album, Antikosmos, will be recorded during the summer of 2007. A release date will come during that time.
"After huge delays of the full length Faunaz Samgang, Arckanum decided to re-write the album and re-title it Antikosmos. All the years which passed by I, Shamaatae, developed in a great amount personally and black magically, and by that Arckanum developed with me. And when I went through the material and concept of the lyrics I felt at once that this did not represent me or Arckanum anymore.So I took the initiative to re-write the lyrics, which ended up reflecting my worship of the anti-cosmic thursian powers of the Old Norse religion, and my workings of the dark runes. I have re-written about half of the music, because I felt I could improve it, so I did.
The album will have eleven new and unreleased songs. And the album will as usual be released as a high quality CD and LP: Full of illustrations and black magical formulae. The LP version will have gatefold-cover and thick vinyl. There will also be some surprises along with the promotion of the album, so be sure to look for it on the websites of Arckanum and Carnal Records."
