CINDERELLA Guitarist Jeff LaBar On NAKED BEGGARS Firing - "This Is Really Nothing New In My History With Eric Brittingham"

CINDERELLA guitarist Jeff LaBar has sent BW&BK;'s Mitch Lafon the following message regarding his firing from NAKED BEGGARS:
"This is really nothing new in my history with Eric. I tried to talk to him about booking prospects for Naked Beggars and he wanted to reiterate the priority of recording the new CD. I listened to his point and tried to explain that I needed to route to and from shows that were already booked. He then proceeded to scream uncalled for, insults and obscenities at me until I could take no more. When I started to retaliate, I heard a click. The next voice I heard was Inga's, on a voicemail no less, saying 'don't bother booking this band anymore because you are no longer in it"'. Those were the last words I got for my three years of devoted service, on and off stage, from a person whom I considered a very close friend and tried to help escape virtual obscurity along with her husband, who had asked for my help.As far as Eric is concerned, it was the rest of Naked Beggars complaining to me about him. With me being the only one in the band with any balls or mind of my own, I addressed the situation and subsequently got fired, while the others chose to side with their Communist leader.
This brings us to Cinderella. I have been through worse with Eric and I believe this will not effect our working relationship, personal maybe but I'll get over it as I have in the past. Eric, on the other hand does tend to hold a grudge which is quite a shame since I have valued his friendship for over 20 years now.
In closing, I wish Naked Beggars luck and nothing but the best in the years to come, with added props to my good friend, Kris Casamento, without whom, I wouldn't be the writer/player I am today and I would like to believe the same rings true back at me."
