MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine gave BW&BK; more insight into the possibilities of a Gigantour-like tour set for Canada this fall.

"We're talking about bring a Gigantour up here just for Canadian bands (end of this year)," Mustaine updates BW&BK.; "Well, not necessarily Canadian bands, but bringing Gigantour up here and having a lot of Canadian bands on it. There will be obvious ones, but it won't necessarily be in arenas either. If the bands that come along in the headlining position have enough weight or credibility, it may go from a theater to a hall to a smaller arena. My whole thing is that I'm so grateful for what has taken place in my career, I want to be able to use what I have left in the touring capacity to be able to open doors for these other bands. Like INTO ETERNITY. They aren't a national act. They certainly aren't an American act. They are relatively unknown in a lot of places. I took them out, took 'em under my wing and protected them. They were very respectful. I hope they had a good time. I know that that's the kind of stuff I needed when I first started. ALICE (COOPER) tried to talk to me when I went out with him in the beginning - Alice is my godfather - he sat me down on his bus one night. He was sitting there with eyeliner on and I'm just out of my mind. And I'm going like, 'cool, Alice Cooper - we are going to get wasted.' I didn't know he had stopped drinking at the time. He goes, 'you know what, you really gotta cool it.' It really kind of put a damper on things. But you know what, there's a way that you can be out there and try to help people in a way that you don't discourage them, but you can also show them that there are some good things to do and there are some not so good things to do. 'The choice is yours. If you have any problems, call me. I will always be here for you.' And that's the way I feel about all the band's I've had at my festival."
