CHILDREN OF BODOM - New Signature ALEXI LAIHO Arrowhead From Edwards Guitars Now Available In Europe

Back in February the CHILDREN OF BODOM fan site Scythes of Bodom reported that Edwards Guitars - a small company owned by internationally renowned ESP Guitars - would produce two new Alexi Laiho signature guitars. The E-AL-128 Arrowhead (pictured on the left) was put on the market at the end of March and sells for around €830 retail. Details are as follows:
Colour: Black with yellow stripe
Body: Alder
Neck: Hard maple 3P
Fingerboard: Ebony, 24 frets
Inlay: Arrowhead
Scale: 25.5 inch (648mm)
Nut (width): Locknut (42mm/R2)
Joint: Neck-thru-body
Bridge: Original Floyd Rose
Pickups: EMG HZ-H4
Control: Master volume
The Edwards version of the Arrowhead has slightly different specifications and technical details compared to the ESP models but they look the same. The only visible difference is the "Edwards" logo on the head.
As previously reported, Laiho unveiled his new signature model Sawtooth guitar from ESP at the Frankfurt Musik Messe in Frankfurt, Germany last month (see image on left). According to the Scythes Of Bodom fan site the guitar was constructed with the MM-04 pre-amp booster specially designed for Laiho according to his specifications.
