DIMMU BORGIR - In Sorte Diaboli Lands On Two Billboard Charts

In Sorte Diaboli, DIMMU BORGIR's eighth studio album which was released last week on April 24th, has sold over 14,000 copies in the U.S. according to Nielsen SoundScan, securing the #2 slot on Billboard's Top Independent Albums chart and #43 slot on the Top 200 Albums chart, marking the highest charting album debut in Nuclear Blast USA's history.
Guitarist Silenoz checks in from Chicago on the band's current tour with UNEARTH, DEVILDRIVER, and KATAKLYSM to comment on this momentous achievement for Norwegian black metal: "It seems like people haven't forgotten about us after all, so thank you! In other recent news, Dimmu Borgir's video for 'The Serpentine Offering' debuted on MySpace.com in April and was viewed over 200,000 times. The video has since also aired on MTV2's Headbangers Ball and Fuse's Uranium.
