SHATTER MESSIAH, featuring guitarist Curran Murphy (ex-NEVERMORE, ANNIHILATOR), have contacted BW&BK; announcing Jason Chamberlain as the band's new bass player. Chamberlain was offered the job after filling in as a temporary replacement on the band's '06 tour when former bassist Ron Boisvert bowed out for personal reasons. The band is still on good terms with Ron and wish him the best.

As previously reported, DCA Recordings released Shatter Messiah's debut album, Never To Play The Servant, in North America on April 24th. The album was released last year in Europe, and had only been available as an import outside the continent. According to a press release, "Never To Play The Servant's 14 tracks teem with this lethal combination of over the top aggression and melodic skill, resulting in such standout tracks as 'Crucify Freedom', 'Frailty', and the blistering title track.
