TOM ANGELRIPPER And Ex-SODOM Guitarist ANDY BRINGS Team Up For EP Supporting German Soccer Club

THE TRACEELORDS / ex-SODOM guitarist Andy Brings has revealed that he and Sodom frontman Tom Angelripper have teamed up to write an EP's worth of soccer songs in support of the German soccer club, Schalke, who are #1 and heading to the country's national championships. The EP will be called Blau Und Weiß Ist Der Deutsche Meister. One of the songs featured is titled 'Komm Mit Auf´n Bierchen Nach Gelsenkirchen'. More details will be revealed soon, but the EP has been confirmed for release through German label Armageddon Records.
As previously reported, Brings produced Sodom's latest self-titled album
Sodom will play a special 120 minute, 25th Anniversary show at the Wacken Open Air 2007 on Thursday, August 2nd. The band will be joined by ex-Sodom members Chris Witchhunter (drums), Grave Violator (guitars), Athätor (guitars), Frank Blackfire (guitars), Michael Hoffman (guitars), Andy Brings (guitars) and Atomic Steif (drums) over the course of the night.
