.38 SPECIAL, MOLLY HATCHET, BLACKFOOT are confirmed for Rib America Festival in July in downtown Des Moines, Iowa. Other acts on the bill include BUDDY GUY and headliners BIG HEAD TODD AND THE MONSTERS. The Rib America Fest will take over the north parking lot of Veterans Memorial Auditorium at the Iowa Events Center on the following dates:
Friday, July 13: 11 a.m. - 11 p.m.
Saturday, July 14: 11 a.m. - 11 p.m.
Sunday, July 15: 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Famous Dave's, Mustard's, Texas Outlaws and other barbecue brands will provide the food. Admission will be free before 3 p.m. and afterward $3 for adults. Children 12 and under will be free at all times. The Rib America Festival is an annual fest staged in multiple cities that this year also will visit St. Louis and Indianapolis.
