ANTHRAX Drummer CHARLIE BENANTE To Produce New ONLY HELL REMAINS Album
May 13, 2007, 17 years ago
Bronx-based bashers ONLY HELL REMAINS are due to enter studio with ANTHRAX drummer Charlie Benante in June. Since forming in 2005, Only Hell Remains have self-released numerous EPs and toured the U.S. and Europe opening up for bands such as Anthrax, SLAYER, UNEARTH, WALLS OF JERICHO and FULL BLOWN CHAOS. The band has established themselves in the New York metal/hardcore scene as an uncompromisingly heavy band, pushing the limits of metal, thrash and hardcore. The as-yet-untitled album is slated for a summer release.
According to a press release, the album "will take their sound to the next level calling on the heaviness of HATEBREED, brutality of PANTERA and the thrash of Slayer and Anthrax. The new material is aggressive and brutal, pummeling the listener with blistering thrash riffs and sick breakdowns. Only Hell Remains highly anticipated release is sure to be one of the heaviest records of 2007."
