SCORPIONS - New Album To Feature Appearance By SMASHING PUMPKINS Frontman

According to ScorpsNews.com, in an interview with French magazine Rock Hard, guitarist Rudolf Schenker says that SMASHING PUMPKINS singer Billy Corgan appears on the band's new track, 'The Cross'. As well, The Scorpions asked former guitarists MICHAEL SCHENKER and ULI JON ROTH to play on Humanity - Hour 1. Unfortunately Michael was in Japan at the time and Uli was not available neither. Rudolf hopes they will play on the next album. After Humanity - Hour 1, Humanity - Hour 2 could be a possible sequel to that album.
As previously reported, Ariola Records will be releasing the Scorpions' new album, Humanity - Hour 1, in Europe on May 25th as a regular CD, limited edition CD/DVD digipack and LP.
