Distribution Fusion 3 has announced the signing of Metal God Entertainment and ROB HALFORD to an exclusive Canadian distribution deal. The first release will be Halford - Metal God Essentials - Volume 1, hitting the streets July 10th.

Metal God Essentials - Volume 1 features thirteen tracks from Rob Halford's FIGHT and HALFORD solo releases. The Halford band's first new songs in more than four years 'Forgotten Generation' and 'Drop Out' are also featured; as is an exclusive 2007 remix from producer Attie Bauw 'Resistance Canadian Mix'.

Metal God Entertainment will also produce three (3) new box sets for the European Union, U.S. and Canada for fall 2007 / early 2008 release.

The Fight and Halford box sets will feature a 5.1 DVD documentary and live concert performance, remastered audio releases, expanded booklet, rare and unreleased photos and liner notes.

The Box Sets are tentatively titled: Fight - War Of Words The Film - Box Set, Halford - Live At Rock In Rio III - Box Set, Halford - Live Crucible World Tour - Box Set.

Widely referred to as ‘The Metal God,’ Rob Halford helped bring heavy metal out of the dank, dark bars of the world and into the mainstream as the leather-clad, Harley Davidson-riding frontman for mega-group JUDAS PRIEST. His distinctive voice and aggressively stylized way of dressing helped solidified the sound and image of heavy metal, an image embraced by musicians and metal heads to this day.

Just announced: North By Northeast Music and Film Festival, Canada’s “Best New Music” festival, is electrified to announce that heavy metal maverick Rob Halford has signed on for a celebrity interview on Saturday, June 9th, from 2 PM to 3 PM in Regency Room C at the Holiday Inn On King (370 King West).
